Join SOSi as a Systems Engineer in Honolulu! SOSi is on the hunt for a forward-thinking Senior Systems Engineer to help shape the future of Command and Control (C2) IT solutions at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. You'll be part of a high-impact team supporting over 5,000 users across the Pacific theater, solving complex technical challenges that drive mission-critical operations.
In this role, you'll lead the charge in developing and maintaining a robust enterprise infrastructure and private cloud platform. You'll collaborate with senior DoD personnel, deliver executive-level briefings, and ensure compliance with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Data Centric Security Principles.
Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of ZTA solutions.
Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of Data Centric Security solutions.
Contribute, provide technical recommendations, and attend briefings or information sharing forums, with our customer and the leadership, in support of ZTA initiatives and new capabilities.
Lead complex technical projects including upgrades, system integrations, and other installations in support of existing Enterprise capabilities.
Provide mentorship for Systems Operations personnel in administration principles and best practices.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.
Reviews work efforts/implementations and contributes to analysis, After-Action-Reports (AAR). Regularly collects and summarizes pertinent network-related accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Completes activity reports in accordance with contract requirements.
Ensures compliance of custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components.
Participates in related solution technologies and special projects, as required.
Interface with team leads and team members to collect, develop, document, and submit status updates via a Weekly Activity Report (WAR).
An Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport.

• Bachelors degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or similar and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems engineering and operations involving complex classified DoD environments and mandatory security controls (e.g., 5+ years implementation and support in server administration. Extensive experience with Microsoft or Linux enterprise services portfolio (Exchange, Active Directory, DNS/BIND, DHCP, SQL, etc).
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Server Administration (Microsoft or Linux+) certification at hire.
• Obtain Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) within 6 months.
• Experience with NSA CSfC requirements including Multi-Site Connectivity Capability Package (MSCCP) and Mobile Access Capability Package (MACP).
• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and/or DISA Trusted Network Environment (TNE).
• Customer-service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist.
• Team-player and able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Excellent planning and time-management skills.
• Able to support 24/7 operations (including support to exercises), when necessary.

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
Additional IT certifications in relevant technology platform (e.g., Network+, Citrix, Dell, HPE/Aruba, ITIL, Juniper, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware).
Familiarity with VDI/Virtual Environments and solutions (VMware Horizon, Citrix VDI).
Familiarity with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and C2 applications.
Change Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Planning).
Experience using Help Desk software (e.g., Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow).
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
May require foreign travel and site visits.
May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends.
