Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing, with at least 1 year in PCU
Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to predominantly adult and geriatric oncology and surgical patients
Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other treatments
Manage oncologic emergencies and infusion protocols
Administer and document medications, including cytokine release syndrome management, insulin, and heparin drips
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure infection prevention and patient safety
Follow unit protocols for patient falls and infection control
Utilize electronic medical records (Epic preferred) to chart and coordinate care
Float within scope of practice as needed
What You Need:
Valid Ohio nursing license (or eligible)
Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
At least 2 years of acute care experience, including 1 year in PCU
Strong clinical skills in oncology and surgical patient care
Ability to work night shift and adapt to variable scheduling
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
This position is based on a busy, mixed acuity surgical and oncology unit with a focus on patient safety and infection prevention. You'll care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including breast, thyroid, melanoma, liver, pancreatic, colorectal cancers, and more. The unit emphasizes chemotherapy administration, emergency response, and comprehensive patient management in a fast-paced environment.

No set/blocked scheduling; shifts reviewed every 4 weeks, with possibility of float within scope of practice.
