RN (Registered Nurse), ER Float Pool

Job Description:

The RN in the ER Float Pool will be responsible for providing direct patient care in varied ER settings, floating across multiple hospitals as required. The role includes managing a range of patient needs from trauma to medical emergencies, operating under fluctuating nurse-to-patient ratios, and supporting the ER team with high acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

Provide emergency care and stabilize patients with diverse diagnoses such as stroke, trauma, and cardiac emergencies.

Float within Zone 1 facilities, adapting to different hospital settings and protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Participate in triage and manage resources effectively within the ER.

Requirements:

Active RN license with capability to practice in the state of Colorado.

Certifications in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC are required.

Experience in high-paced ER environments and proficiency in using the EPIC charting system preferred.

Willingness to float and provide patient care across Zone 1 facilities.
