Join and provide compassionate inpatient care to a diverse patient population in rural Alaska. This is a unique opportunity to work with adult, pediatric, post-surgical, mother/baby, and behavioral health patients while making a meaningful impact in an underserved community.

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN License

Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience

Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN approved)

Current BLS Certification

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training (or willingness to obtain)

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

COVID-19 vaccination required

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive inpatient nursing care from assessment through discharge

Care for adult, pediatric, post-surgical, mother/baby, and behavioral health patients

Perform initial assessments and required reassessments every 24 hours

Administer medications and treatments

Educate patients and families

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Unit Secretaries alongside the Charge Nurse CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #298322. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
