• Requirement : The new Hospitalists must be comfortable doing codes and working in the ICU as the primary attending with Pulmonary/ Critical Care consultant co-management.
• Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine training is their first choice.
• This hospital currently has an active Hospitalist program in place which currently includes six Hospitalists.
• Work Schedule and Hours : This hospital is very flexible regarding offering choices regarding the shift schedule and hours. They can also offer a choice of an 8-hour or 12-hour shift schedule. It will depend on what the internist/hospitalist needs and wants.
