Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant will support ongoing laboratory research projects.
Essential Functions

Performs and assists in laboratory experiments investigating the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions.
Conducts supervised animal experimentation. Responsibilities include strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo assays.
Works under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator to execute laboratory tasks.

Additional Functions
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or a related field.
Minimum of six months experience in small rodent handling.
