Located in the heart of Midtown Village, ROOST offers thoughtfully designed spaces, warm hospitality, and a residential experience that feels both elevated and effortless.About the RoleThe Houseman supports the overall cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day functioning of the property. This role works closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Desk teams to ensure guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and public zones are consistently clean, stocked, and welcoming. A great Houseman is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a seamless guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and outdoor entrywaysSupport Room Attendants by delivering linens, removing trash, and restocking suppliesAssist with deep-cleaning tasks such as carpet care, floor polishing, and high-dustingRespond promptly to guest and team requests for additional items or supportEnsure all storage closets and housekeeping areas remain organized and fully stockedTransport soiled linens to designated areas and distribute clean linens as neededPerform light maintenance tasks when appropriate (changing light bulbs, reporting issues, etc.)Support event or operational setups by moving furniture, equipment, or suppliesFollow all safety, sanitation, and property standardsUphold brand presentation and guest-first service at all timesQualificationsPrevious housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not requiredAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spacesReliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a teamFriendly, professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindsetFlexible availability, including weekends and holidaysWorking Conditions/Environment:The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of the position.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Method Co., along with its affiliates, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to an inclusive workplace free from unlawful discrimination based on race, color, ancestry, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or any other protected characteristic under federal, state or local law.
