HII meets clients’ toughest nuclear and environmental challenges.Know & Grow Your People - Commit to learning and supporting team success.Customer First - Focus on the mission and those we serve.These capabilities guide how all employees contribute to our shared success across Mission Technologies.Job DescriptionThe Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) Network Administrator is responsible for administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of all Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client and server infrastructure used to support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services for the NITE.Additional duties include performing Microsoft Windows server administration, manage GPOs, create/modify DHCP reservations, patching and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Essential Job ResponsibilitiesMaintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline.
