Broadcast TV Meteorologist

Meteorologist

KVAL/KMTR is looking for a meteorologist to anchor the weather on-air and online. You will maintain a digital and social media presence while also providing weather forecasts throughout our newscasts. We also look to our meteorologists for weather reporting, which includes work in the field producing packages, vosots and more.

Work with producers to determine relevant weather content in breaking and everyday situations

Work with digital team to create engaging content for the website, YouTube and social media

Ability to demonstrate experience with active and visual live shots

Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience as weather anchor/meteorologist at professional news station
