Salesperson Part Times Sales

Paint Sales AssociateProvide knowledgeable assistance to customers with all product lines and services offered by the retail store, with particular emphasis on paint, paint sundries, and related products. Assist customers in a professional and timely manner upon their entering the store. Answer customer telephone calls promptly and in an appropriate manner per company guidelines. Determine customer's needs by asking questions and listening to the customer's responses. To suggestively sell additional merchandise to the customer, assisting the customer in completing their projects. To actively participate in all provided training programs offered by the company. To maintain merchandising standards established by store managers and others, including sales floor displays, promotional displays, etc. To actively participate in daily store activities including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, carrying merchandise to a customer's car. Present a professional, neat appearance, maintain good attendance record, and arrive at work at the scheduled time. Participate in all daily store housekeeping responsibilities, including interior and exterior maintenance, product organization, etc. Have effective customer service skills and good attention to detail. Be able to manage time efficiently with a strong willingness to learn. Be able to operate a computer-based point of sale system and other computer-related activities in the store. Have a valid driver's license and make occasional deliveries to customers in a company vehicle. All other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Fundamental computer skills. Strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must understand the urgency and importance of following up.
