This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of the Mayo Clinic campus in Phoenix, AZ for occasional on-site expectations based on business needs.

The Executive Producer for EVENTS is a hands-on operational leader responsible for driving excellence in production execution and advancing enterprise production capabilities across assigned areas of responsibility. By engaging directly with teams, workflows, and production environments, the Executive Producer reinforces production standards through active leadership, drives innovation and consistency across the organization, and ensures the delivery of high-quality production services. As the owner of assigned strategic initiatives, this position is accountable for advancing production capabilities while ensuring exceptional performance in both day-to-day operations and complex, high-profile event settings.

The Executive Producer will assist Video Production Unit Head with administrative direction and planning within the Video Unit and assist Unit Head with the strategic coordination of day-to-day operations across multiple work groups inside the Unit and with other work units inside and outside the Division. Responsible for project management, budget planning and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met. Will be asked to handle administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Director or Video Production Unit Head, including the day-to-day operational responsibilities for assigning tasks and projects to staff, budgeting and scheduling. This position will also be responsible for high level administrative, logistical and technical duties in the pre-production and production of live and scripted programs, including those video projects requiring the highest level of quality with the very highest level of complexity. Must have ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously including budget development and management.

Twelve (12) years' corporate video production experience or an associate degree in a media-related field and a minimum of ten (10) years' corporate video production experience required. A bachelor\'s degree (master's degree preferred) in a media-related field and a minimum of eight (8) years' corporate video production experience preferred.

Must have a highest level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with senior level Mayo Clinic personnel and numerous non-Mayo professionals and benefactors. Demonstrated skills in script development and review, mentoring colleagues, resource management, team collaboration, and understanding of Mayo's committee structure. Strong knowledge in all aspects of studio and field television production, including producing and directing with significant proficiency in the use of video cameras, lighting equipment, related video production and editing. Proficient in managing large video crews during major video productions. Proven problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to translate ideas of medical professionals into finished high-quality programs. Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in the complete process of program development from concept through distribution and billing. and able to communicate and develop strategies to help the Unit meet those challenges.
