Nurse (Health Care)
Alpha Home Health and Hospice
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing quality nursing care in a rehabilitation center.
Key Responsibilities
Follow physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies to ensure patient care.
Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed.
Supervise and guide nursing assistants and staff.
Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
Perform scheduled treatments, document care, and maintain infection control standards.
Support quality improvement and assist with patient records, assessments, and scheduling physicals.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensed RN from an accredited school with current North Carolina license.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on geriatric patients.
CPR certification, dependable, flexible, and team-oriented.
Ability to make clinical decisions and supervise nursing staff effectively.
Excellent communication, patience, and tact in interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Additional requirements include attending training, maintaining licensure, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
