Position Details
Employment Type: Full-Time

Monday: 7:20 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:20 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 8:20 AM – 5:00 PM
Team Meeting Days: 7:20 AM – 5:00 PM

~ Friday: 7:20 AM – 4:00 PM

Practice Environment: Supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care
Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and home care practices
Build strong patient relationships through exceptional communication and compassionate care
Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to deliver outstanding patient experiences
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
Contribute positively to a culture centered on teamwork, growth, and excellence in patient care

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Experience with dental software and clinical charting
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and education
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented approach

Qualifications:

Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Clinical needs as required by office
