Travel Nurse- Night Shift

BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Greeley, Colorado.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable)
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• RNC-MNN (Maternal Newborn Nursing) certification preferred
• 1+ years of postpartum experience required
• Experience with postpartum maternal recovery and newborn care

Duties:

Provide nursing care to mothers recovering from vaginal or cesarean delivery

Assess maternal recovery, including fundal checks, lochia, incision/perineal care, and pain management

Monitor for postpartum complications (hemorrhage, infection, preeclampsia) and escalate care as needed

Support and educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and bonding

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Provide emotional support and education on the postpartum recovery process

Collaborate with OB physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary team on plan of care

Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Accurately document maternal assessments, interventions, and response in the EMR

Support families through the transition to parenthood, including physical and emotional care
