Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Care - Nights

Surgical/OR RN – Surgical

Schedule: Call: 12–15 days in a 6-week schedule (includes minimum of 2 weekends). Weekends: included as part of call requirements only.

Assignment Details: Daily census: ~25 surgical cases. Patient ratios: 1:1 (days, nights, weekends). Orientation: 24 hours (non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length).

Requirements: RN license required at time of submission. Minimum: 2 years clinical experience. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Charting system: Epic (required). Trauma Level I experience: preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting. Assist with surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain safety and infection control standards in the surgical environment. Manage surgical instruments and assist during procedures as needed.

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start. All compliance documents due by the Tuesday prior to start. Holiday expectations: travelers expected to work major holidays that fall during assignment.
