Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN 2nd and 3rd Shift

The Opportunity – We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with clients, identifying health issues relate to drug and alcohol abuse. The LPN provides direct care to clients and assists the shift RN to follow treatment plans, maintain client well-being, and comfort.

To be successful as a LPN, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and show empathy while remaining professional. A good LPN identifies health issues relate to drug and alcohol abuse and recommends the best course of action for the individual's needs.

Communicating changes to client health status or behavior to RN on staff
Maintain accurate documentation of client medical records
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare facilities as needed
Perform any and all other duties requested by the Director of Nursing or RN on shift
Current Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (GA)
Experience in Healthcare / Behavioral Health is highly preferred
Comfortable working in a time-sensitive, confidential environment where there are continually changing priorities
Must be very computer/software/internet savvy (Microsoft Office)
Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA laws regarding healthcare treatment
Valid LPN licensure (GA)

Shift Availability-

• 12 hour shift rotation (1ST SHIFT 7AM-7PM or 2ND SHIFT 7PM-7AM)
• Alternating Weekends
