Provides specimen receipt and processing support to ensure accurate laboratory workflow. Demonstrates compassion, maintains reliable performance, and delivers excellent interpersonal communication. Collaborates with clinical teams to support patient care and laboratory operations. Ensures high standards of service and teamwork in all interactions.
Performs blood collections using all appropriate methods and protocols.

• Recognizes and addresses special collection situations and patient needs.
• Utilizes laboratory and electronic health record systems effectively.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
• Provides patient companion services and monitors patient safety.
• Communicates courteously and empathetically with patients, families, and staff.
• Participates in training and supports competency development for team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience

0-1 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
