Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring dependable caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for home care opportunities in the Jacksonville, St. If you want caregiving work where you are supported by a local team, matched thoughtfully with clients, and treated like your work matters, we would like to hear from you.
It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position.
We are a locally owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team. Our owners are actively involved and accessible, and our office team works to communicate clearly with caregivers.
We know that home care only works when caregivers are respected and supported. That is why we focus on strong communication, realistic scheduling, and long-term relationships with dependable caregivers.
Home care schedules depend on client needs. Part-time and full-time schedules
Weekday shifts
Weekend shifts
Daytime and evening shifts
Some overnight opportunities
Minimum 4-hour shifts
Longer 8-hour and 12-hour shifts when available
Overtime opportunities when available
We work to keep caregivers reasonably close to home when possible, while matching based on skills, availability, client needs, and travel distance.
Typical pay is $17 to $18+ per hour for most cases. W-2 employment with payroll taxes handled through payroll

You will provide personal care and daily living support that helps clients remain safe and comfortable at home.
Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
Light housekeeping related to the client
Companionship and conversation
Help with errands or appointments when included in the care plan
Reporting changes or concerns to the office
Our clients include seniors, disabled adults, people recovering from illness or surgery, and individuals who need companionship or personal care at home.

Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
HIV/AIDS training
Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training
Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
