RN, Travel Nursing

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring orthopedic scrub experience, including total joint and spine procedures.

Requirements

Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand

BLS certification required (must be AHA)

CNOR certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required

Must be able to start IVs

Must be able to scrub orthopedic total joint and spine procedures

Responsibilities

Operating Room setting with 40-60 cases per day

Handles orthopedic cases including total joint procedures (hips, knees, shoulders) and orthopedic spine surgeries

Uses Epic EMR

10-hour shifts scheduled 0700-1730, 4 days per week

No weekend requirements

No holiday requirements aside from 1 major holiday

On-call expectation of 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts within a six-week period

No floating required

Maroon scrubs provided

1 week of floor orientation provided

First time travelers may be considered
