Description

Conduct evaluations of patients in an inpatient or outpatient context and curate personalized treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
Collaborate actively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to maximize therapeutic outcomes
Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines
Document assessments, treatments, and progress meticulously, adhering to facility and regulatory requirements
Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care
Education

~ Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited program

Certifications

Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification is preferred
Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills

Prior experience is strongly preferred
