PhD Clinic Psychologist

The psychologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services to patients within the cardiology institute. The psychologist will split their time between acute and ambulatory, depending on the need.
Some of the psychologist's clinical responsibilities will be relatively predictable, and likely to increase as the program grows. The psychologist, in addition to patient facing responsibilities, provides invaluable non-billable services that support the multidisciplinary team and cardiology patients. Education: PhD, PsyD or EdD in clinical or counseling from an accredited college or university; Experience: Minimum of one year professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board certified psychiatrist, required.
Valid license to practice psychology in North Carolina, required.
Previous clinical responsibilities to include psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, brief individual and group psychological testing techniques, administration and interpretation. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team/medical setting.
