About the Opportunity
A leading Spine and Neurosurgery group in Alpharetta is seeking a skilled Preop/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Outpatient Surgery Center (OSS). This is a direct-hire opportunity offering a consistent schedule with no nights or weekends, along with competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities

Obtain and review perioperative (pre-op) clearances, including H&Ps, lab results, and diagnostic testing from primary care providers
Conduct pre-operative patient education via phone
Manage pre-op patient intake and preparation on the day of surgery
Initiate IV access
Provide post-anesthesia care (PACU) and deliver discharge instructions
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout the surgical process
Coordinate care to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
Assist with emergency procedures and clinical interventions as needed
Serve as a clinical role model and maintain professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff

~60% Pre-Operative Care

~40% PACU

Qualifications
Active Georgia RN License
ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of Pre-op/PACU experience
