Position Title: Journeyman Electrician

Pay Rate: $86.11 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.

Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing equipment.

Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, controls, and other electrical components.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades as needed.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Journeyman Electrician License (required).

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required).

Ability to obtain and maintain TSA clearance (required).

Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to safely perform work at heights when required.
