Partner with project teams to prepare and execute effective site safety plans.• Ensure regular inspections are completed at job sites as well as on machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.• Conduct training sessions, monitor compliance, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.• Communicate guidelines to employees, report on health and safety issues, and, in partnership with others, develop relevant policies to maintain a safe workplace.What we’re looking for • A bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related industry experience and 5+ years of safety management experience.• OSHA 500 training certification preferred. • Understanding of safety in a construction environment.• Strong work ethic and team building skills.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering presentations and conducting training sessions for diverse audiences.• Working knowledge of MS Office suite and other industry related programs.
