Clinical psychologist - primary care mental health

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our academic healthcare system. This faculty position offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment within a nationally recognized academic medical center while contributing to education, research, and interdisciplinary patient care. The successful candidate will provide outpatient clinical services, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and participate in the academic mission of The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Faculty rank and track will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Department of Family and Community Medicine offers patient-centered medical services through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at our family medicine centers located throughout Columbus and Franklin County. These centers feature family medicine teams of physicians, residents, nurse care coordinators, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, dietitians, medical assistants/technicians, and mental health experts who work together to ensure our patients receive excellent, personalized healthcare. Family medicine offers team-based services, including physical examinations, wellness care, pediatric services, care for sports-related injuries, women’s healthcare, acute care and chronic disease management, psychological services, minor surgery, care coordination, dietitian nutritional services, pharmacist medication review, and more. As part of one of the nation’s top-ranked medical centers, the department has access to nationally and internationally recognized specialists and support services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and participate in interdisciplinary patient care.
Engage in the academic mission of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, with faculty rank and track commensurate with experience.
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
