Job Description\n Scout Therapy Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Topeka, Kansas.Occupational Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Occupational Therapist needed for full-time 26-week contract! Shift Info: 8-4:30 , 40 hours/week M-F. The candidate would be required to help with late joints, not every night, just on a rotation like everyone else is. Education : Bachelor's Degree required. Occupational Therapist (OT) -KSBHA Required, NBCOT preferred, BLS AHA ONLY- must have within first 90 days if not in hand. Epic experience preferred, not required. Expected patient load: 7 – 8 patients per 8 hour shift is 100%, will build up to 100% Types of patients expected: gen med, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, joint replacement. ED pts less common. Daily shift tasks: Arrive. You may be paired up with a PT and probably will for a bit once there is a quick orientation to help with workflow. Must have experience with and feel comfortable in acute care hospital setting. Facility has a 3-strike call-in policy (case by case basis).
