Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Weekend Only Shift

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed. Every other weekend is required. A minimum of 5 years of ER nursing experience is required as per manager's request. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. There are 12 rooms and 11 beds available in the unit. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary. Key skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Management of dysrhythmias and procedural sedation administration/monitoring are also required. Weekend coverage is required, with up to 3 weekend shifts per week. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed per contract. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start of the contract.
