Cook - Evenings and Weekends

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cook to join our fine dining kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their culinary career who is eager to learn classical techniques, maintain high standards, and grow within a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Assist chef and sous chef with mise en place and food preparation

Prepare and cook assigned menu components under supervision

Follow recipes, plating guides, and chef instructions precisely

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment

Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

Support service during busy periods with efficiency and focus

Properly store, label, and rotate food products (FIFO)

Assist with basic inventory and kitchen organization

Requirements

Minimal professional kitchen experience required; culinary training is a plus

Strong willingness to learn and accept coaching

Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen safety preferred

Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and consistency

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift moderate weight

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
