Nursing Home Registered Nurse

The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare. Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition is essential. Complete all applicable resident assessments. Perform wound care and assessments as needed. Monitor residents for changes in condition. Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed. Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator. Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting.
