Reason for Coverage: Full-time locum coverage

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (for clean files)

Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (temp privileges available)

Vasectomy

Vasectomy reversal (not mandatory)

Cystoscopy (in OR)

Prostate procedures

Ureteroscopy (in OR)

Lithotripsy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) LOQ in hand

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

DEA: DEA required

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide urology services including clinic visits and operating room procedures

Perform 24-hour beeper call coverage during assigned periods

Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (new APPs)

Manage a patient volume of 24-28 patients per day in the office/clinic

Perform core procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, orchiopexy
