Monjasa is looking for a Trader to join our New York Trading Team, one of the company's key commercial hubs in the Americas.

You will join a high-energy, dedicated trading team where proactivity and passion for the industry drive everything we do. From day one, you will manage your own portfolio of customers and suppliers, negotiate deals, and coordinate the full trading cycle, from purchase to delivery, while gaining international exposure through Monjasa's global network.

What you will do
Develop and manage your own portfolio of customers and suppliers, working to meet ambitious targets
Proactively identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer demand
Execute daily purchase and sale of bunker fuel, securing spot deals that work for everyone
Provide specialist advice and hands-on support to keep customers coming back
Coordinate logistical planning of fuel deliveries with customers, suppliers, and agents
Work closely with Compliance and Credit teams to keep every deal on solid ground
What you bring

A flair for numbers, analysis, and negotiation
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Interest in shipping, energy, trading, or international business
A proactive, resilient attitude and the willingness to learn fast
Fluent English, a second language is an advantage
Experience in sales, trading, shipping, logistics, or another commercial role
Experience in the bunker, maritime, or shipping industry is an advantage, not a requirement
Valid authorization to work in the United States
