We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Preventative Maintenance Technician for our Molding Department. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of molding equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to minimizing production downtime.
Preventative Maintenance:
Inspect equipment for irregularities.
Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on molding equipment to minimize downtime.
Respond promptly to equipment failures and collaborate with production and engineering teams to address issues efficiently.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, including service history, parts replacements, and equipment performance data.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve maintenance strategies and machine performance.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.
Conduct safety checks on equipment and report any hazards or concerns.
Identify opportunities to optimize machine efficiency and reduce equipment wear through process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance best practices.
Spare Parts Management:
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate orders to maintain necessary stock levels.
Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage system.

High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or certification preferred).

• 3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance for molding equipment (injection or compression molding preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling in a manufacturing environment.
