Attendant - Flexible Shifts

In this position, you will enhance the customer’s overall experience and provide excellent customer service through detailed washing, ensuring cleanliness that exceeds customer expectations. Additionally, you will provide important inspection of the motorcycle surfaces for blemishes and notify the service department if necessary.

Superior communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to get along with a broad customer base.
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment.
• Current, valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement.

• Wash the motorcycle with soap and a damp towel or other non-abrasive cloth.
• Ensure motorcycle is cleaner leaving the dealership, than when it arrived.
• Wash heavily filthy and difficult-to-reach regions of motorcycles.
• Tidy up the wash/rinsing area at the end of the workday
• Examine and clean no visible areas such as frame rails
• Read, understand and follow all safety requirements when using tools and chemicals and performing work in the shop.
• Moving and parking motorcycles in correct location.
• Complete documentation and tag motorcycles as required.

• Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”.

• Assist with new motorcycle un-crating.
• Maintain and periodically check inventory of charged motorcycle batteries.
• Re-fill stock of oil, electrolyte material, or other supplies, as needed.
• Clean and maintain appearance of general facilities.
• Ensure proper storing of crating materials.
• Customer Service
• Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Spend the necessary time needed with each customer as needed.

• Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push a motorcycle weighing up to a 1000 lb.
• Frequently requires the ability to remain in a semi-stationary position throughout work shift.

• Model superior customer service behavior for all interactions with customers and employees.
• Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
• Maintain up to date technical qualification and training completing all training programs assigned by the Department Manager.
