Director, Project Operations

Total Fire Protection is expanding rapidly, presenting exciting and challenging opportunities to bring your fresh ideas, polished expertise, and a collaborative attitude to support our growth. As a Project Manager , you play a pivotal role in managing and delivering fire and life safety system projects across multiple service lines including Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression, Hood and Duct, and Integrated Technologies. The project manager oversees all phases of project execution from kickoff through closeout, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope and budget, and in full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory codes and standards.

Lead and coordinate end-to-end project activities.
Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
Monitor progress and resolve field issues.
Oversee procurement and subcontractor coordination.
Manage budgets and financial forecasting.
Champion safety and quality.
Mentor junior project staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• 3-5 years of project management experience in fire protection or construction
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and codes
• Proficiency in project management software (ie Asana, Wrike, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.)
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the NY Metro area (including New Jersey)
• PMP or APM, NICET Certifications
