Senior Mechanical Engineering Tech I

Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking candidates to fill a senior mechanical engineering position in the Richland, Washington Office. In this position, the candidate will perform duties to support design of various mechanical systems as required by the needs of projects. Responsibilities will include working independently and/or under the direct supervision of licensed professional engineers as well as working with other mechanical engineers and mechanical designers/drafters to develop design media including analyses for equipment sizing, construction drawings, and specifications. HVAC Systems
Confinement ventilation systems for nuclear facilities
Detailed fabrication and construction drawings
This position will also involve providing support during construction, start-up and testing phases of projects including procurement support, submittal reviews, responding to requests for information, documenting engineering changes, and writing acceptance test procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 10-15 years of engineering experience is required.
Demonstrate the legal right to work in the United States.
Professional Engineering licensure
Project management experience for design projects
Experience with design projects at a consulting engineering firm.
Engineering experience related to a Department of Energy Site, preferably the Hanford Site.
Engineering experience at a nuclear facility.
Experience with design and analysis of mechanical systems.
