Travel: She Recruits is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to identify an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist (PRN) to support inpatient hospital operations. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who values flexibility, professionalism, and impactful patient care in an acute-care setting.
The inpatient pharmacist is responsible for the safe preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as internal pharmacy standards. This is a PRN role , offering schedule flexibility and the ability to support patient care across multiple departments.
The pharmacist evaluates patient information-including medication profiles, vital signs, lab values, and treatment plans-to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. Prepare, compound, and dispense medications per regulatory and organizational standards
Assess patient-specific clinical data to support optimal medication therapy
Partner with clinical teams-including nursing, medical providers, and ancillary services-to support patient needs
Document all necessary information accurately and in compliance with policies and pharmacy regulations
Adhere to all pharmacy, legal, and safety protocols
Preferred: 1+ year experience in a hospital or acute-care pharmacy setting
Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Required: Active Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing
