Associates (and Customers) can be confident that this mantra drives the organization to be nimble, scalable and comprehensive ----no matter how complex the customers' challenge.Summary Of RoleThe material handler is accountable for assuring that product of an acceptable quality is properly packed in carton, for keeping the manufacturing area supplied with raw material, and for maintaining a steady flow of properly packaged and palletized finished products between the warehouse and manufacturing areas conforming to customer requirements.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMovement & preparation of all raw materials and finished product for manufacturingBreak reliefAssists technician and Inspector Packers when neededDisposal of waste to proper container and regrind product as requiredPrepares finished product for warehouseHousekeeping and organization of facilityRecordkeeping as requiredOperate all material handling equipmentChange films when neededAll other duties as assigned by SupervisorMaintain and improve a safe working environmentParticipate in problem solving & improvement teamsMaintain proper amount of additive at machine (color, etc.)Minimum Requirements And QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDForklift experience preferredMust always use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the jobEssential Functions And Physical DemandsMust have good vision and hearingMust be able to lift 55-60 lbs. gaylords of material using pallet jackMaintain clean & safe work area clear of obstacles and/or scrap product, tools, etc
