Registered Nurse Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience within the last 12 months
Active Kansas RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving emergency care environment
Emergency Department Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients with a range of acuity levels
Support rapid assessment, triage, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of patients
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care
Care for chest pain, stroke, and other emergent medical and trauma presentations
Monitor and manage patients boarding in the emergency department
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold departmental standards of care
Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on quality and efficiency
