Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical is seeking a skilled Residential Service Plumber to provide plumbing repairs and replacement services for homeowners and light commercial customers throughout the Indianapolis area. This position emphasizes quality workmanship, customer education, and long-term solutions instead of high-volume drain cleaning or sewer service.

What You'll Do

Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems

Service water heaters, fixtures, faucets, piping, valves, and water distribution systems

Perform plumbing repairs and equipment replacements

Inspect plumbing systems and identify long-term solutions for customers

Explain repair recommendations clearly without using high-pressure sales techniques

Complete service documentation accurately using company technology

Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle

Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Godby HPE professionally

What You Won't Be Doing

No drain cleaning calls

No sewer line cleaning

No sewer repair work

No high-volume drain service routes

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of residential or light commercial plumbing service experience

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems and repair methods

Understanding of plumbing codes and safety practices

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work independently while managing service calls

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
