Process EngineerThe Impact You'll Make in this Role: You would be working on life saving equipment for first responders for a div of a Fortune 100 company.As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Leading OEE continuous improvement efforts on the CNC Lathes with collaboration from operators, technicians and other engineers in the machine shop.Leading sustaining and new product introduction projects that deliver products and processes of validated consistent quality.Manage capital equipment procurement projects from ideation through quoting and implementation ensuring the incoming equipment performs as required.Determines priority of multiple project options that give the most value by thorough analysis utilizing lean and six sigma tools.Supports manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted quality production of life saving products.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution3+ years of CNC machining process engineering in a private, public, government or military environment3+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering or automation experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience with Swiss lathes.CNC Lathe programming and troubleshootingSelf-motivated, self-starter ready to solve challenging problemsStrong interpersonal communication and collaboration skillsAdditional skills desired include:CAD/CAM software experienceFixture development/procurement/qualification, OEEOrganize manufacturing workflow throughout the machine shop including writing programs, tool and fixture loading, parts washing, deburring, 1st piece inspection, audits, work instructions/operation sheets.GD&T, CMM, PFMEA, DFM/A3D CAD modeling fixture and tooling (Solidworks preferred)Lean Manufacturing methods and toolsOperator instruction development/training
