Civil and Structural Engineering Support

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm offering civil site, structural, land surveying, and GIS services. We operate in three states serving our six service lines - Infrastructure + Analytics, Site, Structures, Survey, Transportation, and Water Resources. We have office locations in Missouri – St. We are looking for a Civil Engineer- Structural (Bridge) to support our CDI mission in Building Stronger Communities. By contributing to projects and engaging with the team, you will support our mission and developing a better tomorrow.

Managing structural engineering projects by creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.

Analyzing and designing transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations.

Serving as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials.

Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types.

Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals.

Working collaboratively with the CDI Service Leader, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions.

Department of Transportation structures experience (bridges and walls) (MoDOT, IDOT or KYTC) preferred.

Proficient with structural analysis and design software (Revit experience is a plus).

Bridge and/or Building Structural design experience a plus.

Experience with AutoCAD and Microstation.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

The travel expected is up to 10%.
