Material Handler Inventory Warehouse

Material Handler
The Receiver & Material Handler is responsible for engaging in receiving, inspection, non-inventory items & inventory control activities including handling, disposition, cycle counting, and transactions of inbound and raw material, purchased component inventory, and outsourced materials.
Duties and Responsibilities

Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
Reviews deliveries for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
Maintains integrity of inventory movement by utilizing E1 system to complete transactions.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting any necessary repairs.
Operates forklifts and other machinery to move items on the production floor and on/off trucks.
Assist in weekly/monthly/yearly cycle counts.
Complete all receiving functions of product, raw material, and pallets.
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
Other duties to assist Supply Chain department functions

Job Requirements

Forklift certification, required
Previous experience in working with MRP system, preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel
