Job Description Senior Tax Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a financial services organization seeking a Senior Tax Accountant. This position will join a collaborative corporate tax team and support quarterly tax provisions, federal and state income tax compliance, tax research, audit support, and tax planning analysis across their various entities.
This is a strong opportunity for a tax accounting professional with financial services industry experience who wants exposure to technical tax matters, leadership visibility, and a broad mix of compliance, provision, audit, and planning work.
Prepare quarterly tax provisions
Prepare federal tax returns
Prepare state tax returns
Research tax code matters
Analyze tax planning strategies
Assess transaction tax impacts
Support reinsurance tax analysis
Coordinate IRS and state audit responses
Support external auditor requests
Utilize tax research tools
Drive process improvements
Bachelor's degree required

• 5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Financial services industry experience preferred
• CPA preferred
