Construction Pipefitter Apprentice

Responsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of work performed in the field.

Assist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe on site.

Communicate clearly verbally, digitally, and in writing.

Proactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or Supervisors.

Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems

Reading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systems

Inspecting and testing piping systems

Report all injuries to safety personnel and foreman immediately.

May be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous construction experience

Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing

Must have personal hand tools

May be required to register with the appropriate apprenticeship board as a carpenter apprentice pipefitter

May be required to take specialty training
