Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/04/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers • Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts • Weekend rotation schedule will be discussed during interview • Call requirements: Typically one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks • Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Epic charting system experience required • Community hospital experience preferred • Trauma Level I and II experience preferred • Must work required holidays based on assignment period (if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, work all; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, work 2 of them) • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed • Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics • Skills include cardiovascular surgeries, vascular procedures, thoracic surgeries, and use of specialized equipment like IABP and VADs • Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing • Full compliance required to start on time • GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal • Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above) Facility: This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room providing advanced cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical services.
