Facility appreciation meals

Directs nursing care for the patients and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by assigned staff. Such supervision should be in accordance with federal, state, and local and regulations governing the nursing center. Also, as directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, RN Charge Nurse and/or the Director of Health Services, to ensure the appropriate care for patients is provided.

Provides care ensuring patient/resident safety

Supervises Certified Nurse Assistants, directs work and makes appropriate assignments

Assists in coordinate the care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary.

Assists in monitoring physician services (documentation and visits. Communicates well with patients/residents/clients and family members providing warm and friendly

Greeting and an approachable attitude to families, visitors, patients/residents/clients and responds to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor. Participates in center/agency surveys and any subsequently required reports.

Understanding basic healthcare procedures, including medication administration.

Collaborative skills to work effectively with the healthcare team.

Possess a valid RN nursing license in the State of Georgia.

Ability to lift, move, and reposition residents as needed.

Ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies.

Work is typically performed in a skilled nursing facility setting, with potential exposure to bodily fluids, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.

Full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts may be available, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Frequent interaction with residents, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

May require occasional evening or weekend hours, particularly during outbreaks, emergencies, or survey preparation.

Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for infection control purposes.

Must be able to assist with or maneuver equipment such as wheelchairs, beds, and Hoyer lifts.

Frequent walking, standing, and occasional bending or kneeling may be necessary when conducting audits or inspections throughout the facility.

Must be able to wear appropriate PPE as required and lift educational materials or small equipment.
