Radiation Therapist
The Radiation Therapist will work closely with the team to develop and administer individual treatment plans for patients utilizing medical imaging equipment. This includes monitoring treatment progress and offering support to patients and their families. The goal is to ensure effective and safe delivery of therapy to improve patients' well-being.
The Radiation Therapist must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently and are expected to demonstrate professionalism in all communications.
Accurately deliver the prescribed, planned course of radiation therapy under the direction of the prescribing radiation oncologist.
Implement care/services that recognize age, diversity, individual needs and/or issues of customers served.
Be able to answer patients' and their families' questions and defer appropriately when such questions are outside the scope of a Radiation Therapist's credentials or education.
Act as a representative for Radiation Business Solutions in the community
Reviews charges for accuracy and compliance with billing practices
Responsible for daily warm-up procedures for treatment equipment for quality assurance.
Complete morning QA unsupervised, reports errors, and makes appropriate corrective care
Advanced knowledge of health information system- ARIA, MOSAIQ
Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
