As a Respiratory Therapist, youll be a vital member of our patient care team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional respiratory care.
Deliver hands-on respiratory care including ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, therapeutic gas administration, and emergency interventions.
Follow specified treatment parameters when providing care and operating equipment.
Read and interpret prescriptions, measure arterial blood gases, and review patient information to assess condition.
Determine appropriate treatment methods, duration, precautions, medications, and dosagesensuring alignment with physician orders.
Monitor patient responses to therapy including vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes; promptly consult with physicians if adverse reactions occur.
Play a key role in rapid response and code situations, where your expertise and quick decision-making make an immediate difference including artificial respiration, external cardiac massage, and assistance with CPR.
Use professional judgment and experience to plan and accomplish patient care goals.
Must be a graduate of an approved course of respiratory care.
Certified Respiratory Therapists and Registered Respiratory Therapists may be considered.
Minimum of two years experience as a practicing Respiratory Therapist preferred.
Shift Differentials: $2$4/hour for nights and weekends
Sign-On: $10,000 Sign-on Bonus
