06:45 PM - 07:15 AM, every other weekend (Friday and Saturday night shift).
Job Description
The Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing excellent nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role includes managing cardiac patients, particularly those post-cardiac catheterization, and closely monitoring those in a progressive care unit (PCU).
Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans for cardiac patients.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
Monitor vital signs and perform routine assessments of patient health.
Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans and treatment options.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience.
• 2+ years of cardiac experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RN license (Rhode Island is a compact state).
• Nursys Report within the last 30 days.
