Hospitalist Nocturnist (Internal Medicine)

This position is allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician trained in internal medicine and interested in hospital medicine.

This is a unique opportunity to provide direct inpatient care and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.

You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a quaternary care academic hospital. You will also practice at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, which are 2 of the valley's community hospitals. Additionally, you will practice telemedicine with Intermountain Health rural hospitals and outreach programs.

This position is a dedicated nocturnist role and will require 12 night shifts per month.

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

Successful completion of an ACGME Accredited US Residency Training Program

Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Experienced Hospitalists who are Family Medicine trained will be considered on a case by case basis

Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
